The Restoration Man

 

Symbiotic Trading will shortly be installing a Puraflo system at Telford Church on the Isle of Berneray, Outer Hebrides.

 

The project to restore a former church into a home will be shown on The Restoration Man in 2012/2013.

 

The Puraflo system has been specified as the drainage solution.

 

One particular episode in the Series that is currently being filmed follows Keith and Sheena McIntyre, artists who have bought a roofless church in Berneray, Outer Hebrides to restore  and turn into a modern home and artists residence. They want to make their building as energy efficient  and eco friendly as possible and would like to use an air source pump, solar panels etc

The Restoration Man follows new owners as they restore, convert and breathe new life into heritage buildings in the UK with the help of our presenter, architect George Clarke. We follow each stage of the design and build process as well as looking into the look into the rich history of each property and their former importance to the local community.

 

Series 1 was the UK’s biggest property commission since Grand Designs and transmitted in a prime time slot during March-April 2010 receiving 2-3 million viewers every week.
