The Puraflo System
- The Puraflo Wastewater Treatment System is an extremely
effective, cost efficient system that uses bio-fibrous peat,
housed in modules to treat wastewater.
- The Puraflo System is normally installed after a
standard Septic Tank. (Step by

- Puraflo is the only system of its kind available in
Scotland.
- It provides an extremely high level of effluent
treatment, unsurpassed by any of its rivals
- It is particularly suited for use in environmentally
“sensitive” areas in Scotland because of its ability to
significantly reduce BOD and suspended solids in the treated
effluent.

of pathogenic bacteria and coliform (faecal coliform)

category of environmentally “sensitive” are areas affected
by shellfish designated waters, bathing waters and

Road Show 2006
Symbiotic Trading Ltd in conjunction with Bord Na Mona
Environmental Ltd conducted a series of Presentations to both
SEPA and Building Standards personnel throughout Scotland in
June 2006.
The Presentations were branded a great success and proved very
informative to personnel from both Regulating bodies.
